Why Are We Arguing the Question?

When autism rates rise, and no one’s allowed to wonder why.

What happens when the question itself becomes taboo?

You can’t claim autism rates are skyrocketing and remain complacent. If there’s a series of root causes (which I strongly believe is likely, and just as likely being covered up), why not create a forum to bring them into the light?

And if there are no statistically significant causes, and it’s all wrapped in one mysterious neurobiological or evolutionary pattern? Then we’ve just opened a portal to even more scientific discovery. Either way, inquiry is the win.

I don’t care who the messenger is. We ALL deserve a space for autism to be discussed on the world stage.

Isn’t that what autism awareness and acceptance are supposed to mean?

The autism conversation is fragmented and often co-opted by institutions that profit from its containment. We can’t evolve as a quiet little pocket of society, already mired in factions of theory further politicizing autism.

I care about the millions of confounded parents and children who deserve dignity, discovery, exposure, and the unearthing of hidden accountability.

My personal views on RFK, Jr. are mine. But if a so-called “conspiracy theorist,” “non-scientist,” “man with a checkered past” is the one applying pressure that leads to mass scientific inquiry?

Let it be so.
